04.09.2008: Tombras Hires Renowned Art Director
The Tombras Group is pleased to be welcoming Paul Szary, who comes to us from Detroit where he was associate creative director at BBDO on the Jeep account. Here, he’ll lead one of our top creative teams, fueling growth for three NASCAR tracks, the National Hot Rod Association and McDonald’s across the southeast.

Last year, Paul developed and art directed the “A New Species from Jeep” campaign. He helped consumers see the iconic vehicle in an entirely new way. The integrated marketing effort won Gold at the 2007 National Addy Awards, was featured in One Show and Communications Arts, and was awarded the Best Integrated Campaign in the U.S. at the 2007 Kelly Awards. Also, it is worth noting the campaign—in its first two months—sold more Wrangler Unlimiteds than any two-month period in Wrangler’s history.

Needless to say, the Tombras Group is thrilled to add Paul to our creative team.

With annual billings in excess of $76 million and headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, The Tombras Group is one of the largest independently owned advertising agencies in the southern United States.
